Weather and Clothing
Q. What will the weather be like in mid-September?
A. It’s hard to say these days, but historically the average September temperature in Falls Village, CT, is 73°F during the day and 49°F at night. Bring layers. It’s better to have it and not need it, then need it and not have it, as Ezra’s Mimi always said.
Q. What should I wear throughout the weekend?
A. Think Lady Gaga, Ezra style. If either of them would wear it, you’re on the right track.
Accommodations
Q. How many beds are in the rooms?
A. There are multiple configurations of rooms to accommodate all the families coming (singles, doubles, rooms for families of 3, 4, 5, etc.).
Q. Are the rooms heated or cooled?
A. All rooms are ‘climate controlled.’ (Whatever that means….).
Q. Are there refrigerators in the rooms?
A. Yes.
Q. Is there an Eruv?
A. Yes, the entire Isabella Freedman facility is covered by an Eruv, including the lake. Some of the suggested hikes will go beyond the boundary of the Eruv.

Q. Can I bring my own food?
A. Yes, though you cannot bring it inside the public buildings

A. Can I arrive before 3pm on Friday?
Q. If necessary, yes, but you will not be able to check in to your room until 3pm.
